Join Ruby Yayra Goka and Elizabeth-Irene Baitie at a literary event to initiate the YWCA Children’s Library project, Adabraka.

Theme: I See Me – Empowering Children Through Representation

Help us create a quiet, welcoming space where children can read, work, and dream… and most importantly, see themselves reflected in the stories on the shelves.

Date: Saturday April 26th 2025
Time: 11:00 AM – 1:30 PM
Venue: YWCA Building, Castle Road, Adabraka

Enjoy readings, a literary conversation, book signings, and the unique chance to choose a book you’d love to see in the library.

You can support by:

  1. Showing up!
  2. Donating a book or cash to buy books that represent our children (see Momo numbers in flyer)
  3. Purchasing a book(s) that reflect our children’s world from booksellers at the venue.
  4. Spreading the word!

Let’s build a space where our children can say, “I See Me.”
