How You Can Get Involved

Become a member

Any person who wants to join the YWCA of Ghana whether as Full, Associate, Junior or Supporting member shall apply in writing or online or in person at any of the YWCA locations.   An appointed team will assess the applications, speak to applicants to get to know them and their specific interests and accept /enrol new members.

Partner with us

YWCA Ghana is working to protect and lift vulnerable women and girls  in Ghana. We cannot do this alone. We are looking for Public Partners (Government, UN Agencies, Financial Institutions) Private Partners (Corporate sector, foundations, philanthropists,) and Civil Society Partners (entities that are independent of the public and for-profit sectors) to work with us to advocate for and mobilise resources for women.

The purpose of YWCA Ghana is to empower vulnerable women and girls through access to  knowledge and information helping them to achieve justice, peace, health, human dignity,  and freedom; and to provide vocational training, income generating and livelihood skills to  uplift them to transform their lives for themselves and for their peers.
